Service Description

To celebrate the arrival of spring, bringing together nature's magical combination, all sharing the same plant - the orange tree. This is truly an amazing combination to use three very different essential oils in perfect synergy from the fruit peel, the leaves and the flowers, a top note, a middle heart note and a base note, it is sheer magic.   Why I chose the oils: Bitter Orange (Citrus sinensis) extracted from the fruit peel.  Bitter orange essential oil smells just like freshly sliced oranges! It’s bright, citrusy, sparkly, and refreshing. Orange’s warm, sunny rays can shine light into the darkest of places—keep this oil around to feel positive and confident. One of bitter orange’s popular uses is for the belly, where it can soothe many kinds of discomfort. It is cold pressed from the rinds of handpicked fruits in the sun-kissed orchards of Italy. It is not phototoxic, so use this citrus oil without concern in topical blends. Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium) extracted from the leaves & sometimes twigs.  Fresh, citrusy, and sensual, petitgrain (bigarade) essential oil blends the familiar with a touch of the exotic. Its mild scent can relax the entire system, and is popular in natural perfumes and colognes. There are different varieties of petitgrain. “Bigarade” means the oil is produced from the bitter orange tree (which also produces neroli oil in its flowers, and bitter orange oil in the fruit rinds). It is steam distilled from the dark green leaves of bitter orange trees in Egypt. Neroli (Citrus aurantium) extracted from the flowers.  Richly floral, citrusy, and slightly herbal, neroli essential oil’s aroma has been popular in perfumes for centuries. Even a single drop has a big presence. Neroli can soothe sudden, distressing emotions, nurturing the heart back toward a warm, trusting relationship with life. Neroli is also an important oil for relieving urgent physical issues, as it can comfort sore areas and help them feel strong again. It is steam distilled from the handpicked blossoms of orange trees growing in sun-bathed Egyptian groves.
