These watercolour workshops are aimed for the complete beginner or people who may have had a dabble but would like to learn more to achieve realism style watercolours.

The workshop will be held over a day, approximately 6 hours in duration and will be either a Saturday or Sunday or  from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.  You will bring your own lunch and drinks will be provided.

I will contact you well in advance of the workshop with a list of products that you will need. 

​

You will learn colour mixing and blending and different techniques.  

​

I am a self taught watercolourist who first started at aged 40 and have now gone on to sell at exhibition level.

​

Good results are guaranteed and you will produce a work of art to be proud of in a fun, supportive environment in a group of no more than 3 people.

Aromatherapy for Beginners  Workshops

Info: 

 Aimed for those interested in essential oils who would like to learn safely how to use them for themselves, friends and family.  It is not intended for those who already hold a certificate in aromatherapy or to use in a professional capacity.  If you have underlying health issues or allergies please contact me before booking as it may not be safe or suitable for you to attend. 

 

My aromatherapy learning comes from attending workshops in the UK, gaining a Level 5 Diploma level certificate in NZ, ongoing learning and research, 10+ years experience.

 

The intention of the workshop is:

• To provide a supportive and friendly space for learning.

• To provide you with trusted information on 12 essential oils, their uses and benefits.

• How you can use them in your daily lives to enhance your health and wellbeing.

• How to use essential oils safely.

• To learn what makes a balanced synergy for good effect.

• To create your very own blend in a roll on bottle to take home.

Requirements: Notepad and pen if wanted. Something for your lunch.

What is included: Morning tea. Written info will be provided.  Access to a select number of essential oils for you to create your own roll on blend to take home. Afternoon refreshments.

 

The participant number is strictly limited to 3 people.  This is so you will feel comfortable in the environment and so I can be on hand to help as much as possible.  I feel smaller numbers provide a much better learning environment.

 Create Your Own Signature Scent

 Up to 2 hours - $165.  Additional $60 if a further hour or part thereof is needed

 One on One

Have you always wanted to create your very own signature scent? do you like the idea of using 100% pure and natural ingredients, no chemicals, no nasties whatsover?  This could be just what you are looking for! Spend time here with me on a one to one basis and I will guide you towards creating just the scent you like, whether it be florals, citrus, herbal, woody, spicy or exotic resins or florientals.

 

Allow up to 2 hours but this will depend on how long it takes for you to be happy with your final blend.  If you go over this time an additional  $60 will be payable on top of the session fee up to a limit of 3 hrs.  This includes your very own 10 ml roll on bottle or if you prefer a solid balm there will be an extra $15 payable on top of the session fee.

 We will have your recipe info kept on record so then you can purchase further bottles for $30.
